Joe spent the last few days judging in Hesperus, Colorado, at the Spring Hollow Ranch and Equestrian Park for the New Mexico Cutting Horse Association.

Joe recently attended and was in the judge's seat at the NCHA The Non Pro plus The Open Show in Ardmore, Oklahoma, at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum, June 9-19, 2021. He was one of five NCHA judges. Joe holds the prestigious NCHA AAAA Judge status.

Joe was NCHA AAAA Judge at the Diaz Ranch Cutting Competition in Woodland, California, held May 27-30. Days were filled with judging close to 300 horses.

In 2020 at the Pawhuska, Oklahoma Show, Joe happened to see an older gentleman struggling a little to make it to the arena so he helped him in. As they walked and visited, Joe was thrilled and felt honored to assist John Israel, master bit and spur maker.
